Aleutian Islands: Seabirds on Cruising the Aleutians
The Tustumena Ferry moves relatively slow along all the remote and lost settlement of the Alaskan Marine Highway. And all along there are plenty of marine birds, often following the ship in the wake – fulmars, gulls, different auklets (including an occasional colorful puffin), and many others. Many are flying but some large colonies sit on costal rocks or just simply float on the waves in the open seas.
