Baffin Island: Iceberg Superhighway

Icebergs are plentiful in the Baffin Bay, the body of water separating Canada from Greenland. They calf mostly from the massive glaciers descending from the Greenlandic icecap (like the super monsters in Illulisat) and then travel counterclockwise with the currents. As we travelled north along the southern coast of the Baffin Island, spectacular tabular and otherwise shaped icebergs floated as far as the eye could see, some massive and some small. We sail all day straight and it was magnificent scenery all along!
