Brazil: São Paulo – Catedral da Sé de São Paulo

Catedral da Sé de São Paulo is the largest cathedral in São Paulo, a massive building 92 meters high. A Catholic church has existed in this sight since the mid 16th century, but the present day two-tower Neo-gothic tower was built over 30 years starting in 1913. The halls, filled by revelers on Sunday morning, are decorated with Brazilian themes of coffee branches and armadillos. The cathedral is in the heart of downtown São Paulo, with hundreds of homeless roaming around outside.
