Burkina Faso: Ouagadougou Cathedral

Ouagadougu is a mixed religion town where different faiths exists happily side by side. While there are more mosques then churches here, the Ouagadougou Cathedral stands out with its red brick walls, arched doorways and cavernous interior. Built in 1930, architecturally and stylistically it fits right in into the city’s sandy streets and deserty colors. There was one lonely woman inside and one guy sleeping outside – I guess it was off-peak time.
