Canada/Nunavut: Snowmobiling Adventures

I probably put over 1000km on snowmobile in the last ten days – a totally surreal experience of driving on ice across frozen lakes, deep snow of the tundra, and often a foot of water. The ice is mostly 5-6 feet deep and the top layer melts in the spring sun, so you end up literally driving in water, which is just insane. I clocked in a 93 km/hr at one point. When the ice seems thin – you just slam the gas and fly over it – an absolute adrenaline overload!
