Catalonia: Barcelona – Barcelona Cathedral
Barcelona Cathedral is a magnificent gothic cathedral in the old town, built in the 14th century. Massive vaulted ceilings inside and plenty of gold, but what’s more interesting are the numerous gargoyles decorating the roof – all kinds of animals from domestic dogs to some mythical unicorns and even and elephant. Your neck will eventually hurt from looking up.
