Cook Islands: Aitutaki – One Foot Island

Most boats cruising the Aitutaki lagoons end up stopping at the uninhabited One Foot Island at the far southern end. Picture perfect views in all direction of the neighboring island, red-tailed tropic birds flying right above your head, and coconut palms creating a dense forest make for an ultimate tropical paradise. The island is considered to be the biggest attraction in the entire Aitutaki lagoon.
