Crima: Sevastopol – Siege of Sevastopol Panorama

This is one of largest panorama paintings in the world, created by a famous Russian painter Franz Roubaud in 1904. The panorama is house in a circular building and covers the entire wall, depicting the events on June 6, 1855 when 175,000 of British and French troops attacked 75,000 Russian troops and were repelled. There are many historic scenes depicted in the panorama and the foreground actually has real objects seamlessly transitioning into the painting in the background. The painting was damaged in the WWII, but restored later. It’s one of the largest panoramas in the world!
