Czech Republic: Prague Castle & Lesser Town

Prague Castle (Pražský Hrad) is the larges castle in the world. It was built in 970 as fortified walled citadel and was the residence of the Bohemian Kings (it’s still the residence of the President of Czech Republic). Inside, are several historic attractions, including St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George’s Basilica, the Powder Tower, the Old Royal Palace, and the Golden Lane, and more. The castle sits on a high hill and to get here you gotta climb quite a few stairs one way or another.
