Denmark: Danish Food Recap
Can’t really explore a country’s cuisine in one day, but nevertheless…. Denmark is world-famous for “smorrebrod”, an open face sandwich, something of a European version of sushi. A couple pieces of very dark rye bread are decorated with various topping – many different variations of herring, salmon, cod, sharp cheeses, roast meats, shrimp, caviar, and so on. Very unique and insanely awesome to try and eat! And it all goes down better with a shot of Danish aquavit or a glass of Carlsberg beer.
