Faroe Islands: Eysturoy Island
Another islands ripe for exploration is Eysturoy, a middle island in the Faroes. The highest mountains are located here and the villages improbably set in the hamlets surrounded my cliffs and the ocean. Some roads climb high across the mountain passes where the snow still covers the ground. Many of the villages, like Gjogv, are thought to be the most picturesque on the entire archipelago.
