Formentera: Cala Saona Beach
Time to explore another one of the Balearic Islands – Formentera. Just about an hour by boat from Ibiza, this is world’s away from all clubs and nightlife. You rent a Vespa scooter and drive around to some of the most spectacular beaches in the Mediterranean. One of them is the Cala Saona Beach on the west coast of Formenetera. Stunningly clear blue water, yellow and orange sandstone cliffs, and a U-shaped bay – no wonder this one often makes the list of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
