French Polynesia/Tahiti: Maraa Grottos

On the southern coast of Tahiti, there is a small area where fresh water seeps through the mountain walls and has eroded the mountainside into caves and grottos, spectacularly overgrown with ferns and massive plants with leaves the size of a human. Paul Gauguin used to come here to paint.
