Georgia: High Peaks Road in Upper Svaneti

Four of the 10 highest peaks in the Caucasus range are located in the Upper Svaneti are, including the tallest mountain in Georgia – Mt. Shkhara at 5,201 meter (over 17k feet). A spectacular narrow mountain road – extreme 4WD only – takes you high up toward the peaks for an unbelievable 360 degree panoramas.
