Italy: Cinque Terre – Riomaggiore & Montorola
Riomaggiore, Montorola, and Corniglia are the first three villages of Cinque Terre and the most spectacular. while the trail that connected them is gone after the 2011 mudslides, the villages are still stunning. Montorola has the most beautiful harbor, Corniglia is on a high mountain top that takes 365 vertical steps to get to the top if the cliff (imagine daily commute!), and Riomaggiore is the largest and most colorful, especially when approached by boat.
