Jeju Island: Jusangheolli Cliffs

Similar to the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland (although in a much smaller scale), the Jusangheolli Cliffs are a series of columnar basalt rocks that resulted when lava spilled into the ocean here. Is much younger then Irish and much blacker and sharper-edged in appearance, with perfect hecta- or hexagonal columns being pounded by the rough seas. And if you are Korean – it’s a perfect place to come with your selfie sticks and sun umbrellas and pose for your Instagram page (seems to be the entire nation’s favorite pastime).
