Kenya: Masai Mara – Game Drives

The endless plains of Masai Mara are homes for herds of resident topi and zebra and some leftover wildebeest even when the migration is not here. Hyenas and lions are roaming everywhere and can be easily spotted. Other non-migrating antelopes like water bucks, dik diks, and reedbucks are also here, as are jackals and mongooses. There are plenty of birds as well, although without trees there’s less variety. And a spectacular herd of buffaloes, up close and personal in all their powerful glory.
