Kyrgyzstan: Song Kol Lake
Song Kol is a spectacular alpine lake located at an altitude of 3,016 meter (almost 10,000 feet). It’s surrounded by mountains and is rather inaccessible. In the summer, it is the land of pastures, yurts, and nomadic herders. The rest of the year – it is a frozen nomansland. Incredible sunsets, and starriest skies one can ever see.
