Lord Howe Island: Bottlenose Dolphins at Ball’s Pyramid

The channel between Lord Howe Island and Ball’s Pyramid is over 650m/2000ft deep and is often used by various marine mammals as a sea highway – whales and dolphins and tons of fish. And while the whales are off season, the Bottlenose dolphins put up quite a show following the boat and doing aerial acrobatics along the way with the view of the Ball’s Pyramid in the background.
