Morocco: Todra Gorge & Valley

Another spectacular mountain gorge in the Atlas Mountains, Todra Gorge narrows down to only 10 meters/33 feet wide while at the same time towering up over 160 meters/525 feet. A small strewn runs through the gorge as well as a road. The sun almost never reaches down to the bottom of the gorge and the walls are nearly absolutely vertical. The narrow part is only about 1/2 a mile long but is spectacular. Outside the gorge, the river flows into a broad valley, filled with settlements and date palm groves
