New Zealand: Fiordland NP – Cruising the Milford Sound
A cruise along the spectacular cliffs of the Milford Sound takes you out into the open ocean and back along the absolutely sheer vertical walls of the sound. These are some of the highest vertical cliffs in the world with many waterfalls cascading for thousands of feet. The ship often approaches the waterfalls, or you can spot a massive cruise ship dwarfed by the size of the cliffs from afar. The views are truly iconic.
