Niue: Deep channel snorkeling at Hio Cliffs
About 20 minutes walk along the sharp shallow coral reef along the coast from Hio Beach (low tide only) takes you to a series of deep channels that you can drop into and snorkel all the way between the shore and ocean. Amazing sea life with tall coral walls and towers, underwater caves, passageways, and tons of tropical fish of all kinds. Supposedly, this is the most spectacular spot to snorkel on the entire island.
