Russia: Moscow – Inside the Kremlin

The Kremlin is the official residence of the Russian President, it also contains multiple churches and museums (such as the Russian Diamond Room). The entire Kremlin is a fortified city within a city and the red walls and seventeen towers surround the churches and buildings inside. The word “kremlin” literally means “fortress inside a city”. Several onion-domed beautiful cathedrals and churches are inside – Cathedral of the Dormition, Cathedral of the Annunciation, Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, Church of the Twelve Apostles, and the Church of the Deposition. The spectacular Ivan the Great Bell Tower rises high into the sky. Finally the world’s largest cannon – Tzar Cannon, –  and the world’s largest bell – Tzar Bell, – are both here.
