Russia: Moscow – Ismailovo Kremlin

Ismailovo Kremlin is spectacular but it’s not original. It’s an imitation of Russian architecture that existed in the ore Peter the Great times – ultra colorful and mostly wooden. The complex was built in early 2000s based on the historical drawings and classic Russian fairytales. It most certainly looks and feels a little over the top, but nevertheless it’s still spectacular and you can try authentic Russian food and drinks here (albeit fairly overpriced). There’s also a smogasboard of kitschy museums here – Russian Bread, Vodka, Flat Irons, etc. Its compact and easy to explore and is definitely an eye candy.
