Saint Lucia: The Pitons

St. Lucia is famous for its volcanic landscapes with two almost perfectly shaped peaks known as the Pitons. The two volcanic plugs, the Grand Piton and the Petite Piton, form a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and are almost identical in height, 771 and 734 meters. Anywhere you look on St. Lucia toward the Pitons – the views are spectacular, be it across the valley, from the beach, or being right there in between the peaks at sunset
