Saudi Arabia: Najran – Emara Palace
In the center of Najran stands the magnificent Emara Palace, built in 1942 on the orders of the ten Emir of Najran and inspired by the traditional Yemeni mudbrick architecture. It took until 9162 to complete. The place is surrounded by square walls and the towers inside rise 3-4 stories high, painted with white tops and small slit-like windows. The place is now a museum. And in the basement, we found several bars!
