Scotland: Highland Cattle

Highland cows are beyond adorable and are quintessentially Scottish. They are a special breed of woolly red cattle with massive horns and long body hair. They were bred in the Scottish highlands as far back as the 6th century. The bulls can reach 800 kg (1,800 lb). Their milk has very high fat content and their meat is considered one of the most premium beef in the world.
