Slovenia: Predjama Castle
Predjama Castle is a 15th century castle almost impossibly built into a cave entrance high up in a vertical cliff wall (try capturing that!). Many if the castle’s inner rooms are part of the cave. What’s more interesting, the cave system thy begins underneath the castle is almost 12km long and you can explore the first 1k on a tour (lights and helmets, 560 steps climbing, natural surface, few tourists)
