Spain/Valencia: Valencia – Around the City

Spain (Post 39): Around Valencia ———— Valencia probably requires a good week to explore by normal people, so even for me it took nearly a day and a half to checkout all the top attraction. You don’t go in any particular order – just roam around, get lost in the labyrinth of streets and stumble on spectacular historic buildings and sights – the cathedral and the famous atmospheric Plaza de la Virgin, the palace of La Lonja de Seda (15th century silk exchange), the stunning St Nicholas church as well as the spectacular Santo Tomas church, or the exquisite Palace Marqués de Dos Aguas (aka Ceramics museum). And all the exploration comes with sitting town and sipping on an oversized Aqua de Valencia – a local drink of orange juice, cava (champagne), and gin.
