Sri Lanka: Fish Market in Negombo
It’s a smelly affair but it’s the largest fishing market in the country and it is right on the beach. Tons of fish of all shapes and sizes is being brought here, sorted, packed, and massive fields are air-dried. It’s not a commercial market, but rather hundreds of local fishermen in the wooden outrigger canoe boats bringing in their daily catch.
