Sri Lanka: Monkeys & Ancient Ruins
Ancient Pollonaruwa ruins have a lot of old trees and vast green areas, where the nature and time slowly take over the ancient city (technically it’s the other way around since the ruins were all escalated, but it’s more romantic the former way). The ruins are home to large groups of big grey langur monkeys, eating fruits and collecting additional government fees from tourists. The little cone-shaped ears monkey was just adorable.
