Taiwan: Taipei’s Night Markets
Taipei’s night markets are legendary! Shilin takes almost a whole district, while Huaxi is a several streets. Crowded with both tourists and locals – the markets are not just about produce and food. It’s everything – stalls cooking and selling everything on earth, tables and chairs set up to consume all that. There are various arcade games, entertainment, and more. The Shilin market was very touristy and a bit of kitsch, but Huaxi was just fantastic – stuff I have never seen it tried before.
