Tanzania: Serengeti NP – Masai Giraffe
The Masai Giraffe (common in Tanzania and Ethiopia) is the largest giraffe species and the tallest animal on earth. They are easily distinguishable from other giraffe species given their coloration – the brown spots are dark in color and have very jagged edges. In Serengeti, you can witness groups of nearly dozens of giraffes munching on new foliage on various bushes after the new rains.
