Thailand: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

This is supposedly one of the biggest attractions in Thailand – about 1.5 drive west from Bangkok – a vast series of canals that host the world’s largest floating market. While it was fun to cruise the waters of these canals in a traditional boat, it was what I expected and even pictures weren’t that great. Instead, it’s the world’s largest tourist trap – absolutely nothing authentic about it, it’s all tourists and hardly any locals, and just endless stalls of souvenirs.
