Tokelau: Landing on Fakaofo

Landing on Fakaofo takes a short boat ride from the ship to the shore with local and returning residents. Once ashore – it’s a picture of congested housing, farming and other equipment all around in various stages of degradation, and most people not particularly doing anything rather then lounging and getting ready to unload the supplies that arrived with the ship. There really was NOTHING to see here and I was happy to get this Tokelau adventure over with.
