Torres Strait Island: Cruising the Islands

With so many islands, it’s natural to have to get on the water to see them and cruise around – ferries and boats connect the inhabited island (of which there are less then half a dozen). It’s a beautiful landscape of azure seas, islands in all directions, and empty beaches. There is zero tourism here – salt water crocodiles are everywhere in the coastal waters and Torres Strait is so remote even for Australians. Plus aboriginal government is against any development. It’s really forgotten land – smack in the middle of hot tropical paradise.
