USA/VT: Quechee Gorge

Quechee Gorge is the deepest gorge in the state of Vermont and is located near the border with New Hampshire. It’s a glacial gorge, cut by the retreating glaciers during the last Ice Age about 13,000 years ago. Sometimes, it is referred to as the “little Grand Canyon of Vermont”. The bridge spans the gorge and offers spectacular panoramic views. And the nearby forests are full of mushrooms.
