USA/Florida: Art Deco District & Miami Beach
Miami’s Art Deco District is a collection of bright and boxy early 20th century architecture lining the ocean-front of the famous Miami beach. Classic Art Deco features of loud colors and sharp geometry are all on display here – most building are boutique hotels with the ground floor as a restaurant – peddling overpriced and oversized drinks to the hordes of Miami tourists and beachgoers. The beach is a just a step away – a wide yellow-sanded crescent with translucent warm Atlantic Ocean lapping at it.
