USA/TX: Natural Bridge Caverns

Natural Bridge Caverns are the largest caves in Texas and perhaps the most spectacular. A 60 ft / 20 m natural bridge overhanging above the cave’s entrance gave it its name. The caverns have large halls and twisted walkways switchbacking around the walls and multiple levels. Flowstone formations are the most prominent, but there’s plenty of stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. There is a whole hall full of cave straws, and a large room with rare speleothems. The cave is wet and active and is still growing.
