USA/UT: Temple Square in Salt Lake City

Moving on to Utah. The heart of Salt lake City is a massive Temple Square – the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints aka Mormons. The main temple is simply magnificent (although non-Mormons not allowed inside). Besides the fairy tale temple, there is the world church headquarters, a tabernacle, conference building and more. It’s a sprawling site in the very center of the city on the highest ground.
