Zambia: Walking safari in Kafue National Park

Only in Zambia can you go on a walking safari – literally walk around the lion/leopard/elephant/buffalo full savanna and forest in search of adventure. You don’t get to see as much wildlife as on a game drive – you cover smaller distance and animals usually see you as a threat (an occasionally as a meal) and mostly scatter away. But you get to see animals tracks, plants and trees, listen to nature, and learn much more then on a game drive. And plus there is a thrill you can get attacked by a lion (you have an armed ranger just in case). One thing for sure – you become an absolute animal poop expert (like hyena poop is snow-white because of its pure calcium diet of bones).
