USA/California: Kings Canyon NP – Kings Canyon

Kings Canyon National Park protects a large canyon of the Kings River and several other rivers flowing into it. The canyon is massive and truly spectacular and reaches almost 8200 ft (2500m) in depth, making it the deepest canyon in the USA. A road twists along the canyon’s rim with overlooks into the canyon. At the end of the road, there are several hiking trails leading to multiple waterfalls. Oh, and there was a large rattle snake!
