Canada/Quebec: Gaspesie National Park

Gaspesie National Park is in the middle of the Gaspe Peninsula, an area of spectacular mountains and desolate and foggy landscapes. The Chic-Choc Mountain range is one of the oldest mountains ranges on earth, over 600 million years old. Several hiking trails lead through the heart of the highlands, a desolate, cold and inhospitable environment.
