Russia: Saint Petersburg – Exploring The City

There is so much to explore around Saint Petersburg! Besides the main attractions, there are dozens of historic buildings, churches and cathedrals, museums and squares. The city is full of canals and bridges that are raised at night. Important places of interest are the Avrora Cruiser (the ship that launched the October Revolution in 1917 that brought 70 years of communist rule), Admiralty building with colorful red Rostral Columns, atmospheric Kazan Cathedral, sky-blue Smolny Cathedral, and much more. Don’t miss the Lenin statue as well!
