USA/CA: Death Valley NP – Racetrack Playa

Racetrack Playa is a unique area in the Death Valley National Park that takes an adventure to get to. The playa is a flat area surrounded by mountains that gets wet in early spring with the melting snow and ice coming down from the peaks around it. As the mud dries up, strong winds can move the rocks lying on the playa, creating mysterious-looking racetracks.
