Canada/BC: Vancouver Island – Radar Hill at Pacific Rim NP

Radar Hill is definitely one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the park – especially at sunset – when you are above the treeline and can look out further toward the ocean and setting sun. During the Cold War, Radar Hill had a series of radars installed here against the incoming intercontinental ballistic missiles.
