USA/AZ: Grand Canyon NP – North Rim

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is much more spectacular then the South Rim – it rises to 8297 ft / 2529 m, which is almost 2000 feet higher then the southern part. The panoramic views are truly mesmerizing, especially at sunset. It is much colder here, and temps even drop below freezing in early October.
