USA/CA: Anza-Borrego Desert SP – Desert Lily

Desert Lily (Hesperocallis undulata) is a unique species from the lily family that grows in the deserts of the American Southwest – Mohave and Sonora. It’s aloe-like leaves crawl along the sandy ground, while a stalk with beautiful six-petaled flowers shoots straight up.
