Tanzania: Serengeti NP – Serengeti Plains
If you enter the vast Serengeti National Park from the east, the first area you encounter is the Serengeti Plains – endless flat savanna, that is typically the last to receive the seasonal rains in the fall. But grass is already starting to shoot though the parched ground and the wildlife is here in hundreds and thousands – herds of zebra and wildebeest, giraffes, antelopes, birds. And the most spectacular African landscapes imaginable.
