Tuamotu/Fakarava: Tetamanu Village & Pass
The Fakarava atoll has two passes on the opposite sides of the lagoon, and the Tetamanu pass is located at its southern part. The village is the site of the first church built in the Tuamotu Archipelago in 1874, completely made out of coral rock and spectacular both in an out. The village is tiny and mostly has diving shops as the pass is often viewed as one of the premier diving and snorkeling destinations in the entire Pacific.
